At least one hundred different Caribbean islands are represented in the parade yearly. Jamaica, St. Kitts, St Lucia and Trinidad are just a few of the Caribbean islands that can be seen in the parade.

There is lots to see. One of the biggest attraction is of course the floats and the costumes. The colors of the costumes without a doubt will take your breath away. They are gay, colorful, bright, filled with feathers and just incredible. They keep you wondering about what else is coming around the bend that you can't see yet.

Plan on spending the entire day there and bring plenty of money. No need to bring lunch you will be treated (for a cost, of course) with every Caribbean dish possible from Curry Goat and Roti to Rice and Peas and oxtail dinners. You will want to stock up on souvenirs and noise blasters and more. If you didn't have a good time at the parade, it wasn't because there wasn't enough to see. Go prepared to walk and walk and walk. And don't forget to wear you best walking shoes. .
